Just keep your settings at 3 and 4 until the start time and then set back to what you normally use.
And with One day or a half day left set to 0 and 0 this way you will not spend a day or so waiting for tasks to complete.
I tried, but could not get tasks, will try again later... THANKS
You may just need to let them sit and wait, the bad part is you cannot run any other CPU tasks so our rigs sit doing nothing. Citizen Science Grid's Website is Back Down Wed Nov 22, 2017 5:09 pm Posted but no response. Their are other Projects that Have Tasks Ready so not sure why FB is not managing this a little better.

Their are other Projects that Have Tasks Ready so not sure why FB is not managing this a little better.

Looks like I have been banned from the internet... maybe I should be.. No tasks from CSG, no Windowz updates.... to mess up my Crunching... Can not even see if I completed anything in the last 3 hrs.. Am I alone or we are all in the same sinking ship?? Time to crash out here, nearly midnight.. Fingerscrossed all is good in the morning.. Crunch on for the last Sprint of this year. We are and always be, The BEST TEAM in the WORLD.

CSG website is still overwhelmed, but stats are showing up. We're in second place, a long way from first and a long way from 4th at the moment, with overclock.net nipping at our heels. Can't get user stats from CSG, and free-dc isn't updated often enough to see what's really going on. I see I dropped a few before I started bunkering, and free-dc only shows 5 active users on our team (but that's data from before the official start time). When do I get a nice badge like bcav's with a bird in it?

TAAT just dropped the mother load and is on our 6. I just dropped about 45 more but only half of those made the update and the other half on the next I think.

My first batch of tasks finally got uploaded, over 600k. Still running on the tasks I hoarded at the start but we will see how it goes once those dry up.

I am weak on CPU challenges but I have four I7s and two I5s running CSG. That is all of my computers. I am not having any trouble getting work units. I hope everyone had a great Turkey Day!!  rs

This was just bad timing all around. CSG normally is a pretty rock solid project in my experience at least. They had an issue with the server at the same time the Sprint started that wasn't caused by the Sprint. https://csgrid.org/csg/forum_thread.php?id=2489#7361 Assuming it hasn't been mentioned here already.
