We're a long way back from 3rd now. Sigh....
We are what the record says we are in the CPU arena.

Maybe Tony can tell us more about the computers of xii5ku on his team, which are responsible for almost half of their team's points.

I have 90% of my tasks overnight show 2 or 3 days to complete.
I did abort them all I had to restart my computer to start running them.
Things IMO things are not quite right.

Last post I am making here:
Drop the conspiracy theory,
Putting the pieces together xii5Ku has server capabilities at his/her services, whether personally owned or not it doesn't matter. He/She has some good hardware to access and use for BOINC and Folding. Wish I could say the same but I cannot.

Here are the pieces in no particular order:

https://universeathome.pl/universe/show_host_detail.php?hostid=293969

http://www.primegrid.com/...tail.php?hostid=530208

https://forums.anandtech.com/threads/formulaboinc.2500571/page-54#post-39167883

Kudos to StefanR5R AKA xii5ku

Simple math using the updated drops in Free-DC and the time lines involved shows there are a lot of cores. That and the fact that it was stated they were running Linux which improves the completion times (from what I understand)

Howdy out, Have a good day!

I don't know about conspiracy theories, I just wanted to see what hardware was in use.  It is nice, though, to know that we are not competing against someone using corporate hardware.  I guess he has his reasons for hiding the computers and using a different name than his forum name.

I find bunkering to that extent somewhat silly; since everyone knows it's coming, it really doesn't make much difference.  In this case he apparently played some tricks to work around the project's own restrictions on bunkering - to me that's going too far (and maybe that's why the computers are hidden, so we won't see that it shows 90 computers on his account when he only has nine).

To each his own...

From the choice you gave - I think enigma would be an easy project to add some points to. Several of the listed options have a catch (like no tasks)
or require some extra preparation.

Just my opinion - Pardon my sloppy grammar.

These look like the remaining options for the last FB sprint? CSG is also in there with only 238 CPU tasks currently available. Anyone’s guess for what is picked. Are you feeling lucky?

I have to say that Universe @ Home is now on my List of not to run Projects...
I Lost most of the last 20 hours worth of work and other Project Task issues with this Project.

yeah, this project requires a fair bit of weeding. it's always going on one of my rigs, and I'd say every day I have to kill 1 or 2 tasks that get stuck...

My thoughts on the project list. bcav may have posted as what the next sprint may be or what should be we doing. We have no control over what sprint might be chosen so the following is my opinion as to where we need to think about placing resources. Keep in mind that I believe 4th place overall is ours and only ours and only we can blow it if not careful. And obviously, we need to get about 12 points in the final sprint to seal the deal.

BURP > Tasks can be hard to get=NO
Cosmology @ home > camb_boinc2docker v2.04 (vbox64_mt) & camb_legacy CPU=No
DENIS @ Home > Zero Tasks to Send=NO
Enigma @ home > Lots of GPU Tasks=YES if you can get them.(I could not over the weekend)
FiND @ Home > Zero Tasks to Send=NO
PRIMABOINCA >Some Tasks=NO
SRBase > 24,330 Sierpinski / Riesel Base - average3 Tasks=MEH (chasing 2.8M points and protecting 3.2M points)
The dDM-Project (Distributed Data Mining) Website is Very Slow > 109839 Tasks Laryngeal Video Classification (What I Run)
Java is needed for dDM-Project=??Never ran it myself (we are chasing 60K points and protecting 108K points) I'd say leave it be.
VGTU @ home > Some Tasks VGTU @ Home application for grillage optimization=MEH (chasing 850K points and protecting 1.69M points
Wanless Mersenne +2 > Lots of Tasks (Linux Only) Oh and Mac OS as well.=Yes (chasing 6K points and protecting 3K points)

This is way too complicated, I don't know how you guys keep up with all of it.  Just tell me where to go (as long as it's a polite place) and I will try to help (but I am in the WCG Birthday Challenge and the TZC).

^^^^^ I second that motion.  I can't keep up with so many things myself. I jump around projects and try my best to do the POTM's.

I have been keeping an eye on this,
After WCG is done in 1 more day, was going to hit Universe plus a couple of others..
Still a long time to go till the end of the year.

We have done 134k to their 130k today so far today..BoincStats

I also have 56 pending tasks, so we will have another 38k points once validated

I'm all in on it for now but am going to move over to the final sprint tomorrow so I didn't want it to be forgotten. A lot of the recent points are hangovers from the last sprint.
