My GTX 780 seems to have given up. I've had 1 bsod and several freeze-ups this weekend. Several tasks returned with errors. It seemed to be running hotter than the usual hot. I swapped it for my even older 660ti and it's running much cooler than the 780. I"m going to try new tim on the 780 but it won't be ready before the end of this sprint. 660ti estimates a little over an hour per task so maybe 8-9 tasks before the finish.

I have been out of it for a while since our A/C failed and in the process flooded down a wall and through the ceiling below.  If it's not too late, what should I start running now?  Moo, with CPU, GPU or both, or something else?  PM me if it's a secret

Gpu is the way to go but all will help. It's over in 9 hours so don't bury yourself in tasks . Set it for .02-.03 days or something like that. Thanks Punchy

Sorry to hear that punchy. I have seen that so many times over the years being in the HVAC business.
Take a wet vac and suck out the drain line every year. Install a trap that can be taken apart and cleaned out.
Most often the clog is in the drain lines trap.
Also they make  drain pans, you may already have one.. It is a big pan put under the air handler to catch water if it leaks.
They have micro float switches now that can mount in the pan, and there are water sensors too.
In the event of water leaking from the air handler they will shut off the A/C before it ends up leaking all over the place.

MOO GPU is the way to go.
Our lead has gone from 11+ million, down to to 9+ million.
Time is running out, hope we can hold them off. As long as they have no bunkers to drop we may be ok.

I set moo to not use CPU or GPU and will finish up any tasks.
Then it is time to give my electric meter a good rest.
Get the TitanX water cooler done, get another Asus P9x79 WS up and running.

Not sure why Moo ran ok this time around, difference is, I did not run any CPU tasks at all while running the GPUs.
I also ran one or two tasks on one GPU, not two GPUs on one task. Maybe that was the difference.

Sorry I did not throw a lot of CPUs at the other projects, just too warm in the house, even with the windows open.
Good job everyone.

Congrats team! We took the Gold Medal in Moo! Wrapper and it will stand out in the trophy case next to the Bronze we took in the Einstein sprint a few weeks ago. 2 medals in 4 sprints! There are 15 more sprint races this year and they are great way to pick up points toward the Marathon. Next one will be announced in 13 days. Hopefully they pick Leiden Classical.
Good job.
Looking forward to the POTM on the 22nd.

I do not seem to be getting any yoyo so I shut down all my systems but this laptop, it does not DC anyway.
It is so quiet, the windows are all closed and the house is cooling off .
Will fire up some cores tomorrow and see...
Time to relax a little bit.

Too quiet, my ears are ringing. I like the "white noise" of the fans.
It really helps with my ears ringing.

That is so true  - it gets too quiet for me and good old tinnitus takes center stage

If it's too quiet, there's still lhc and cosmology going on this week in the pentathlon.
