There will be short short spring challenge for 3 days over on the EVGA BOINC crunching team. Not sure what the projects are yet, but you all are invited to join in if you want something to do for a couple days. The Formula BOINC has a series of short challenges called sprints, and there are several (2 a month or so) during the year. One thing to mention is that the Rosetta@home project also models protein folding and docking, so you will be contributing to a cause very similar to Folding. This project only uses your CPU, so you can run Rosetta via the BOINC manager and still Fold on your GPUs.

We are currently in 4th spot and need just a little more horsepower to get to 3rd before sunday. Appreciate any help. Come on Folders!!! It's not like the Crunching side never helps or participates in folding events. THEY NEED SOME HELP ON THIS EVENT!!! Collatz Conjecture You will need to download and install: BOINC This is a sprint, it runs until 1700 CST July 2. This project requires a password to set up and get started.(PM a Cruncher for password OR ANY help in setting up) This IS a GPU event, giving up a few hours of Folding will not affect most folks Folding points/ progress. Do them a favor will ya?
