Following the launch of RAGE 2 in May, id Software director, Tim Willits, announced that he would be parting ways with the company after a 24-year long career. Willits isn’t leaving the gaming industry behind though and has now taken up a new position as the Chief Creative Officer at Saber Interactive. Saber Interactive’s most recent game would be World War Z, although the company has also created NBA Playgrounds and is currently working with CD Projekt Red on bringing The Witcher 3 to the Nintendo Switch. Saber is a pretty big company, with five studios placed at various locations around the world.
 
It is a fairly big job but with Willits on board, it will be interesting to see what Saber Interactive does next.

    Guy doesn't need to worry about money for so long , he is probably looking for someone to give him more control to do other things he wants, without being interfered with..

    Reminds me of John Romero who left id Software to have more control and to know have to make another Quake or Doom game.
