The former Intel CEO passed away in his sleep at the age of 66. Intel profits almost doubled under his leadership. RIP Mr. Otellini.

Crazy. We can thank Paul Otellini for Intel dropping the use of third-party chipsets and adopting a unified platform mindset by rolling its own. I hear he also pushed the strategy for fixing the awful IGPs Intel had before 2010.
