Moving this to the proper forum. In addition I am pretty sure this will void your warranty.

AMD Ryzen 9 7950X,  Corsair Mp700 Pro M.2, 64GB Corsair Dominator Titanium DDR5  X670E Steel Legend, MSI RTX 4090 Associate Code: H5U80QBH6BH0AXF. I am NOT an employee of EVGA

This is kind of old news, but thank you! It has been posted somewhere on this forum once before.

It's kind of a hokey method, but it is a simple way to execute a logical modification.

The people that would consider doing the der8auer power mod probably don't care about warranties.  Frankly, if you want to pull more power you should not be buying FE models in the 1st place.  There are plenty of boards by different manufactures that allow for a higher power limit out of the box.  Plus once EVGA releases the Classified KP edition you will have all the power capabilities you need.

    Nope.
    Just nope.
I don't have stable hands to do this.
Pretty sure I would be frying my card with liquid metal.

    I see you have i7-6850K on 4.2GHz...
How much is faster than i7-5820K on same frequency, let's compare, I have i7-5820K on 4.2GHz.
I think 10%, maybe more, maybe less.
I think Cinebench is maybe best and fastest place to compare CPU.

i7-6850K is great processor. Only AMD spoil image of our processor and X99 platform.
Now everything, X99, i7-6900K, Rampage V Edition 10, have completely different picture, because AMD beat them on 100$ worth motherboard.
    That mean for 600$ you beat 1500$, 1000$ 8 core CPU, 500$ X99 mobo.
