I just purchased a CLC360 to pair with a 5900x. My fluid temps range from 29 - 31c at idle with fans running ~1000 RPM. When gaming for an hour, the fluid temp got up to 45c with a static fan curve of 1000 RPM. This seems high considering other AIO coolers (CM, Corsair) I have used. Should I have any concern about the passive capability of the radiator? I know I can blast the fans to keep the temps lower but looking to see what other users have encountered.

I've got the CLC280 - the highest I've gotten my coolant temp is ~42-43c (IIRC) when stress testing with Prime95 - however, I run a fairly aggressive fan curve based on the coolant temp.  What temp is your CPU at when the coolant is that hot?

I didn't check the max temp the CPU reached, but it never gets > 70c. I created a fan curve based on the coolant temp which has the fans running at 90% once it reaches 42c. Next time I play, I will see how hot the CPU gets. The fan curve control leaves a lot to be desired in Flow Control (I know, well know...). Really hoping EVGA plans to make improvements.

After adjustments to the fan curve in Flow Control and for case fans, my max fluid temp was 38.3C and max CPU temp was at 65C.  CPU temps were in the high 50s for the majority of the time. This was after 1+ hour of gaming. I reverted back to Flow Control 2.0.11 also, but have no indication that 2.0.12 is a culprit. I broke a fundamental rule in troubleshooting, and changed too many things at once.

Anyway, if nothing else this serves as some temp data if anyone else has questions. I think these temps are acceptable with a 5900x and 6900XT combo.
