When I first built this computer a couple of weeks ago, Flow Control opened fine, but now I cant get it to open. I can see it running in background processes in task manager, but it doesn't show on my screen. Any ideas on what may have happened? I have tried removing it completely and reinstalling, but keep getting the same result.

Yeah... same problem but after doing a little research, it could be the EVGA LED Sync program causing a conflict. If you end EVGA LED Sync task in task manager, then run your EVGA flow control... it works for me. Also, I've read about compatibility issues with a few Corsair programs running at the same time.

I am also having the same issue. I tried closing EVGA LED Sync like suggested but that did not help. I also looked for other programs that could be causing compatibility issues but I see none. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the newest EVGA Flow Control Setup v2.0.7 and still no luck. And help would be appreciated.

Look for a sys tray icon. Led sync doesn't close unless you right click its icon and choose quit.

this is so frustrating because my cpu hits 60C just opening dragon age inquisition and There is nothing controling the flow of my pumps so basically I spent money on a colorful art for my cpu I have never had my cpu hit 60 C with liquid cooling on any game what so ever but not having the program work it's pretty useless for me

You are a champ thank you ..I did the same and fixed my issue. I read that you do not need the flow confrol open for it to work because your setting are saved to cloud. But it must be bugged as well becausethere was a drastic spike in my cpu temps when it was not open. when open temps idle 15 to 25C without the flow control open idle 40 to 46. So glad to have this back.

I discovered also that if you have GUI always on top ticked that also will prevent you from seeing the application this is with any version of the flow software.I had to go into install folder and profiles and delete the cfg file to get it to properly open again. For some reason or another my corsair mouse driver also made my flow program not work right with it installed my egva said my cpu was 220C to 300C when other softwares I had to see temperatures said my cpu was holding at 17 to 25C.Motherboards usually pretty smart if my cpu was that high in temperatures it would of shut down . I uninstalled the corsair and the evga software went back to normal upon reboot.

Hey, made an account so I can verify MsRavenn's post. I too was messing around and clicked "always on top" in flow control 2.0.8 and upon starting up my compy a few days later Flow Control was running in the processes but would not present itself onscreen. For those not familiar, the solution to this is to go to the config file and alter the boolean to false. You can find the file where the program is installed under EVGA\Flow Control\Profiles called "CPUWB.cfg". Open this with a text editor (notepad) and change "<add key="/Settings/AlwaysOnTop" value="1"/> to <add key="/Settings/AlwaysOnTop" value="0"/>. Once this is done, save it, and reopen the software, it should reappear. Strange problem. Make sure you have end the task before performing this operation.

This actually worked! Uninstalling and installing older versions didn't worked for me but changing <add key="/Settings/AlwaysOnTop" value="1"/> to <add key="/Settings/AlwaysOnTop" value="0"/> fixed it. Thanks!
