Flow Control Software wont change LED color

so i have an evga clc 280 aio. within the flow control software i try to change the ambient color to white. it does not change. i try to do anything with the color settings and they do not change. The colors are just alternating with the basic default animation. I've tried re-installing flow control and that doesn't solve my issue.

    I am  giving up checking this thread
    so lets just say he (like me)  found out you can get white Electrical tape on Amazon.
    Electrical Tape - 3⁄4" x 20 yds, White
     
    For some reason duct tape  on EVGA  LED's or changing colors with a magic marker is a no no  :-)
