Here are some benchmarks with my 1700X. CPU boost was disabled in both runs.
Ryzen 1700X@3.9GHz - 3600MT/s CL16 2T
Ryzen 1700X@3.4GHz - 2133MT/s CL10 1T

I love how you tried to make it look like the ram speed is having a massive affect on the score. Do another run @ 3.9GHz while running the ram at 2133MHz.

Ryzen 1700X on default settings, RAM at 2133 default timings
Ryzen 1700X at 3.9GHz, RAM at 2133 default timings

Do note that the 1700X boosts up to 3.9GHz on a single core and 3.8GHz on all cores.

Why are people giving this garbage benchmark so much credit?

We just thought that the multi-core score of the Threadripper bench run was low so we wanted to compare. Obviously the benchmark is the problem here.

Most likely the bench is Intel optimized compile.
