I've had this a couple of times during the past 6 months and this tutorial is how to solve it.

    Will totally give this a shot especially the last method as I think I've tried the first one before. I've had to resort to using linux to delete some of my old apps from previous versions of windows and its hella annoying

    It’s annoying to have to fix this in the first place but I guess it gets rid of a security flaw that effects like 1% of users while being a pain for everyone else.

    Are there any ill effects doing this to the WindowsApps folder? As I did last night.
     
    Edit: I can't see why Trustedinstaller and me the owner and Administrator can not share access to WindowsApps folder? I still see Trustedinstaller has Full controll.

    has anyone ever had none of the methods work? I have some leftover files from a previous windows install that im about to need a linux boot disk to take care of
