Still not sold on the game. Maybe if they do an open beta it could change my mind. Just worried it will be like the (2015) Star Wars Battlefront version with boring gameplay.

SWBF and BF1 are the two worst games I have made the mistake of buying.
I'll pass on SWBF 2.

I liked the beta for the first game enough, but the lack of a single player campaign turned me off. Also, I remember being irritated about their approach to DLC. I might give this one a go. Not sure yet. I'll play the beta (if there ends up being a beta) and possibly decide from there.

As much as I like Star Wars I just wouldn't buy this because it's heavily focused on the prequels. I guess they are ok films and I have seen far worse but they are also a total let down for the awesome movies that are the original trilogy. I started to accept them as maybe just not being able to be as good as the original trilogy because I grew up with those but then Rogue One and Episode 7 came out and proved good Star Wars films can still be made.

The new single player campaign mode featuring the Imperial Spec Ops team sound really interesting, but otherwise I am not that into it. I will watch for a sale as I am not really interested in the multiplayer side of it.

Got to play the closed beta for Battlefront 2, it looks promising so far, very similar to the first but with a good visual bump and very stable server performance on my end. I am excited to see a real single player campaign. Little odd to see Rey as a Jedi and Darth Maul on the same stage at the same time, but the multiplayer is hardly canon anyway.
