Gaming for a long time (more then 8 hours) gives me temps of 55 c on the cpu at 5.1MHz at 1.32 volts and 66 c on the GPU. The GPU is not overclocked at this time. I was wanting to know if a kit like this EK FLUID GAMING A360G would work with a water block that I have already ordered from EVGA, EVGA HYDRO COPPER Waterblock for EVGA / NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Ti, XC / XC ULTRA / XC2 / FE, 400-HC-1389-B1, RGB. I have search on the internet and found numerous videos stating not to mix metals. The EK kit is full aluminum and the EVGA block is nickel-plated copper. If this will work great but if it will not, could you recommend a water cooling kit that I would be able to use with the GPU block. I would like to start with soft tubing for now as this will be my first try at water cooling an entire system on one loop.

    Exactly what he said.

Why aluminum still exists in the PC water cooling world is the Eighth Wonder. Werent we trying to eradicate it?

Stick to nickle plated copper and you are good to go. If you are competent to piece together the components you listed, you will have no problem throwing together a simple custom loop. And good choice with the soft tubing for your first go-around.  Its much more forgiving than hard tubing, and gives you a chance to play with different configurations. Watercool makes some great CPU and GPU full cover blocks. Have fun. Very addictive and can be an expensive habit.

Your choice of case is not going to make it easy .. they are not all that big

I use many EK block, radiators and parts ... also Alphacool radiators .... it is not hard to build the loop, take your time

Find the biggest/ thickest radiators that will fit your case

Always do a leak test ... power is Only to your pump

design your loop with a drain ... make maintenance much easier

There are links in my signature & my Mods Rigs build ... with more details

If I put the Hydro Copper waterblock on a RTX 2080 Ti XC Ultra Gaming, do i need to flash the bios so P1 knows i no longer have any fans on the GPU?

    No, it does not matter

Nvidia Boost 4.0 will auto OC the GPU based on Temp, Watts & load ..... you'll need OC software like EVGA PX1 to push it farther with custom settings

If this is your first watercooled built my personal suggestion is to stick to one brand of components to eliminate any sort of contamination problems and make your loop as maintenance free as possible by using a clear coolant.  Because no matter what anyone tells you , you will learn a lot from your first system and are bound to rethink your plan and dramatically improve making a loop the second time around.  You need to steer clear of the EK aluminum parts unless you intend to use the entire system and treat it sort of like a closed loop aio system.  you can not share any parts from other companies when using aluminum.  Its not a joke you will contaminate your copper components immediately.

The second biggest suggestion I can make if to have a mother board that has water temp probe headers. and to add 2 probes into your plumbing.  You will only need one of the probes but it doesnt hurt to have a second one as backup incase the first one fails.  You are going to want to control your fan speed based off your water temp probe rather than component temp.  this is easily controlled in the Asus Fan control bios.  Make all your fan changes in bios and avoid Asus's crappy windows software, ie: ai suite.  They have a habit of polluting your windows registry and all the software conflicts with each other.
