I am so glad the someone that has directly been involved in developing thermal material is coming and saying that w/mK is just a bad reference point. I have hated people hyping up garbage thermal pads based on “17 w/mK” while the pads are actual garbage and fall apart. Primochill pads are much more pliable and usable, but show a lower rating to them compared to the other brand.

Most people that swear by those garbage pads have no clue what they are saying, and always give some extreme number their temp was reduced by.

This one, from the past, was also very enlightening and dispels a lot of misconceptions.
