I tried every piece of software to control the fans with a simple fan curve (Fan Control, Speedfan, Argus, etc) and none detected the fans connected to my z590 DARK.

The z590 seems to use a proprietary controller that no software can detect and control out of the BIOS.

Is there any way to add fan control to X1 for the Z590?

The z690 and z790 got control for fans in the latest bios update :  https://forums.evga.com/ELEET-X1-v10150-m3590832.aspx, so I believe it's possible.

Are there any updates on this topic? I know this would be a very welcomed update.

EVGA is alseep. Either in a coma or on its death bed. It is not yet clear.

You could try submitting a compaint/suggestion and see what sort of response you get.

If that's the case, it would be unfortunate…

I just sent a complaint/suggestion, hopefully I get an interesting return.
