Maybe I've missed where the GPU that y'all SHOULD be building was included with this 2.5lbs case? Where's the $2k coming from???
What happened to you guys??? You decided out of nowhere that you were done making badass graphics cards and that you'd come up with other crazy ideas to make money? Don't soak your fans who remain for some frame you guys decided to make out of some spare wire and carbon fiber. Who cares???? People tryna live these days and y'all think they can use a frame at $2k?

It’s definitely not a part for everyone but it’s a nice looking setup. I knew the second I saw it was made out of carbon fiber it was going to be expensive as you’re dealing a high end part.
The open air cases though don’t work for me since I have a couple of cats. I really need filters to keep hair and stuff out of my system.

Don’t buy it? The case was always expensive even without a GPU, from the day it launched. It was a niche product for niche builders.

I think it would better serve the company to build/make/engineer products that are affordable
but still profitable.
even if I can afford it, I'm not spending 2000 on a case....I'd rather buy a 4090 Ti (when and if they ever appear)

I'm not trying to trash talk the product. Clearly I looked at it because it looks great. When I look at it, I don't see where the $2k goes. I don't understand what the benefit is when I'll be listening to the buzz of every fan unregulated by glass or other barrier.
The point is they're backfilling instead of continuing to kickass, and I'd rather they kicked ass traditionally.

Whether they knew about it at the time of release, I'm not sure...but they released that at the same time as the 3090Ti, as in they were still making graphics cards at the time of release. I don't see how that matters, but this is not something they developed and released after that decision was made. It is just still available to purchase even after their exit from the GPU market was announced. As far as I know the only thing they've released after that decision was announced was the z790 series motherboards. Supposedly there's a power supply coming "soon", but we haven't seen any information about that yet.
