Slow powerup

When I turn on power on my new DDR5 system for about 5 seconds all i get is the power LED and then everything spins up,
the Christmas lights come on and it boots.  Is that normal?

    There's a lot of details missing in your post.

    Some DDR5 systems are known to have a slow DDR5 testing/training period which could be what you are experiencing. It's hard to know without knowing anything about your motherboard or how it is designed to operate.
