Can I use and evga vga cables in my evga 1000w gq or does it have to be the ones that came in the box.

    What model of card did you get?

    If it is a model that doesn’t use the 12-pin connector you will be fine using the ones that came with the EVGA power supply. If it does have the 12-pin you would need to use the adapter from the box into the EVGA cables.

    You would not want to plug anything from a box that isn’t made by EVGA and listed as compatible directly into a EVGA PSU. This is because the pin layout on PSU isn’t always the same. On the end that plugs into a graphics card, motherboard, SATA device, etc, is always universal though.
