issue with rma z690 classy

my z690 has terrible coil whine, as far as i can tell. ive tried two different  gpus so its not those. it even makes whines when i hover over icons on game apps and os desktop icons. with games its very noticeable. is this common on a mobo? any advice is appreciated thanks

    have you tried frame limiting in Nvidia control panel?
     
    sometime excessively fast frame rates will exacerbate issues like coil whine
     
    Do you have another PSU to test with?
     
    Is PSU plugged into a wall or a UPS?
