Hey all.
After several RMA's due to gpu issues I finally got a working RTX 3080. My only question is it runs about 15 to 20 C hotter than the ones I RMAd.
I run games at 3440x1440 144hz and 1920x1080 240hz. Max settings. I used to never see above 75c with an aggressive fan curve and 90% of the time never above 65 to 70c.
Now every game I play at aggressive fan setting I am hitting 70 to 83c.
Nothing in my PC case changed. And its dead winter. Idle temps are fine. No performance issues.
My question, how long can I expect my gpu to last at 83c? Also how long can I expect fans to last at 100% spin speed? I am on my pc 16 hours a day and I am gaming anywhere from 4 to 8 hours a day 3 to 5 times a week. When I game now have to set fans to 100% just to keep the gpu under 80c
Icarus, Dying Light2, Spiderman, Warzone 2.0 all sit at 78c if I put fans to 100%, On aggressive it's 81 to 83c
Its just really hot and I am concerned come summer I wont be able to game if temps get too hot.
