So I recently flashed a bios update and that's all well and good but now bios screen is on my side monitor. Main screen is HDMI, side screen is DP. Is there a way to force one to be the default? It wouldn't be an issue if the 2ndary screen wasn't in portrait mode lol.

Did you try checking the NVIDIA control panel to see if this is an issue in the setting called "Set up multiple displays"?

I have a Z690 Strix in my work computer with a 3-monitor setup. I also found that the GPU default port changed after a BIOS update, which makes no sense because I only use NVIDIA graphics. My CPU is a KF. I want the center monitor to be the one where pre-OS display goes by default. You have to determine the output priority on the DP ports. I believe that DP usually takes priority over HDMI. I started burning a lot of calories trying to figure it out and within a few minutes just decided it was too much trouble. All three of my monitors are the same. I rearranged the cables at the monitor end because it required less effort. Switch the cables between the monitors and then in Windows you can rearrange them left or right if you need to. I believe there is something that happens in Windows where the output priority gets rearranged.

Once I got it sorted I put labels (1,2,3) on the GPU end of the cables so that I know what order to reconnect them later if I unplug the cables.

Don’t believe there is a way to change it, but if this happened after a bios update why not go back to the older bios version that had it working correctly for you?

It stayed on the same monitor after going back to the old bios.
