Hi all,

Problem here - after using system for 3-4 hours , some intensive loads it bluescreened with “irq less or no equal”. Reboot, post code 69 and caterr_led on. Reset - hangs on post code 24, caterr_led off. Cleared cmos - same. Reseated ram, cpu, checked cables - same. Reflashed bios - booted first time, got in to BIOS, nothing unusual. Saved default settings, reboot - post code 69, catter_led on …

Z690 Dark, brand new 13900K, TG 7600 ram, 3090Ti, AX1600i. Any ideas ? :|

Make sure your cpu heatsink isn’t too tight. If that doesn’t help try running off a different bios by simply flipping the bios selector switch on your motherboard to a different position. If none of that helps try testing your cpu & ram in a different rig to confirm they’re good. If the cpu & ram works in another rig then you should rma your board.

Note: Make sure you’re running the latest bios version on all your bios chips as well.

Yes, but nothing extreme - 5.7 all core avx -3, 1.34 min droop, 7800 ram, watercooled, 1.5/1.48 vdd vddq, 1.2sa, cpu delided, direct die cooled with liquid metal, no spills, smd’s well protected, core temps around 90c. Maybe some voltage spike, i was using memory hungry application that uses avx2 instruction set, it happened when i pressed close program button.

Post code 69 and 24 relates to North Bridge DXE init, any idea whats that all about ?

“Fun” continues - installed 13900kf, First boot - fine, reset cmos, booted windows, no issues. Powered down, powered up - no 1.8 cpu rail and vcore power. Cpu - dead, not detected, tested on other pc. Damn …

100% sure it is mobo, no 1.8 and vcore rail leds. Will be RMA’d.

I had that happen to me on a Z490 Apex. Asus refused to pay for the CPU their garbage motherboard destroyed. Fortunately, Intel covered it under warranty.

Just a heads up... Intel will deny your warranty if you tell them the CPU or RAM was overclocker. It is an automatic denial now that their performance tuning warranty is no longer offered. They did that to me on a 12900K.
