Hi there!  I just paid the collateral for my 3080 FTW3 Ultra for a cross-ship RMA and it came to $1792.07 CAD!!! That's almost $200 more than I paid for the card brand new back in May of 2022. I was told on the phone that I would have to pay the MSRP of the card as collateral, but I've checked every single number I can back and forth, in USD and CAD, with tax and without, and I cannot make sense of that number.  If all goes well I will receive the money back at the end of the day, but is this normal?  

must be the 12GB model?
 
1792 CAD = ~1300 USD, and that's the MSRP price for the 3080 12GB FTW3.
 
that's normal. they used to charge 2x MSRP at the height of the shortage to prevent people from falsifying RMAs to "buy" a second one. but they only charge 1x MSRP now.
