I purchased the z20 through NewEgg in February, and it's been finicky for months, randomly turning off and requiring me to unplug USB. I've got a brand new PC, and it's clearly not my USB ports that are the problem.
Today I experienced the same problem of the backlights failing utterly aside from the white keys holding down the FN Key, and Unleash isn't helping either.
I can't register the product as the site says my part number doesn't match for the USA? "The Serial Number is not related to the part number. If you are outside North America, please check your profile under Member Home to ensure your country is set properly."
How can I RMA this thing if it won't let me register it? I've been a fan of EVGA GPUs (and sad that you won't be making them anymore!) and motherboards for a decade or more, but I've had terrible luck with the power supplies and now this keyboard has failed as well.
Firmware updated, yes I am pressing the right keys, uninstalled and reinstalled Unleash, etc. yadda yadda... Customer service doesn't have a live chat feature? And it's closed on weekends.
Please help!
