4k, dx12, fully maxed out with dof, motion blur, film gain, & upscaling off.

Same settings as above but with ray tracing off...

Big difference there. This is with the latest patch applied. Game version 4.27.2.0.  Ran smooth through the bench as well for each of the runs.

DX11 run...

Ended up requesting a refund because HDR does not work correctly.

I refunded it because it was a stuttering unplayable mess. It’s ridiculous that a game released in such a state. They did tweet later yesterday that they released an emergency patch to address the stutters but there are still things like none of the upsampling working at all as neither the temporal and even more comically AMDs own FSR does apparently nothing if enabled. HDR is also broken and does nothing or uses the incorrect color space. There is also improper FoV scaling for users of ultrwide displays.

Very disappointing launch from such a highly anticipated game.

Any spoiler in the benchmark? I guess I could run it and look away. LOL
Is there resolution option? I don't see any, unless it just runs at what you set desktop.

Graphics settings have to be changed when at the main menu, not when loaded into the game (sadly). No spoilers in the benchmark, unless you didn't know about the weird alien baddies already.

This game is CPU bound and it looks like FSR is not working for Nvidia cards (at least in my case there is no difference). No DLSS. But on 4090 it is playable maxed, but there are scenes where frame rate goes deep below 60.

The stutter is similar on the RT Wither 3.
It means 4090 cannot handle RT. It can only run simple RT.

    CPU - Intel 8700K - 5.1GHz core, 5.0GHz cache, 1.37v
    GPU - EVGA FTW3 1080Ti SLI - 2.0GHz core, 12GHz memory
Motherboard - Asus Maximus X Hero
    Memory - Corsair Dominator 4x16GB - 3000MHz default XMP 15-17-17-35
    PSU - EVGA 1600T2

Shader building now means a card can't handle raytracing? Interesting. Here I thought it meant that the game engine implementation needed some work since it was too single thread bound, since having a 5800X3D really smoothed things out compared to the other latest and greatest CPUs.

It's rather strange to say RT makes CPU limited. It's more like RT core is maxed out so the CPU has to do the extra BVH graphic job.
