if you put the graphics card on oc instead of normal how much overclock is there.

    I think the only difference is the OC position has a more aggressive fan curve.

    faster default fans ... no Zero RPM mode & colder is faster - (because of Nv Boost overrides)
     
    Nvidia boost technology allows OC & overrides OC - all by itself, without manually adjusting with any software  - your card can exceed stock clocks
     
    Peak performance still requires software to adjust, Any + setting to GPU or RAM, power slider, voltage slider, custom fan curves .....
     
    Nvidia Control Panel, Windows setting & specific Nvidia driver being used - all can add to OR reduce performance

    ok thanks i have a evga rtx 3090 ftw3 ultra. so if i put it on oc it wont hurt anything. i dont know diddly squat about overclocking.

    Correct. OC is just a higher fan profile to assist in cooling should you choose to add a higher overclock than the factory set one.
