Now that the RTX 4090 has been announced and Steve from Gamers Nexus mentioned that evga did make about 20 prototype samples for their 4090 card (but didn't mass produce them since evga left the videocard business), would it be possible for pictures of what the evga 4090 would have looked like to be shared? Maybe an employee can share pics of one of the 20 samples that was made?

Normally I buy evga cards but since that won't be an option this time around I'd love to at least see what they would have looked like if possible. Thanks!

I'm pretty sure the big red one in the middle was EVGA: https://images.nvidia.com/aem-dam/Solutions/geforce/ada/news/rtx-40-series-graphics-cards-announcements/geforce-rtx-40-series-partner-graphics-cards.jpg

EVGA did the silly red trim on the 3080's if you remember, and has used red in the past. Secondly, notice how the red trim GPU is the ONLY GPU to not be branded, even the logo on the fan hubs is missing.

Nope, the one in the middle with the red trim belongs to Colorful.

AMD Ryzen 9 7950X,  Corsair Mp700 Pro M.2, 64GB Corsair Dominator Titanium DDR5  X670E Steel Legend, MSI RTX 4090 Associate Code: H5U80QBH6BH0AXF. I am NOT an employee of EVGA

Hah, okay that blew my theory out of the water then. You're right, that's the Colorful NB EX card. Still weird that it completely lacks any kind of logo or branding when all the rest have it.

I wish we could see the cooler design for the 40 series. I am curious if the engineers were close to finished with the cooler since there was never a leak of the card. Typically leaks happen no matter who tried to hide them.

That Gainward Phantom actually looks really good. Would look sweet in a vertical build with that decorative piping and RGB but I don't believe they are available in the US are they?

Doubtful we will see them for some time unless they happen to make it out of EVGA HQ or Tawain.
