it's possibile and order from italy or will my country always be cut off?

You know you could order it at ----> EVGA EU website the ONLY freekin PROBLEM = there is NOTHING to buy there!
I hope EVGA still sends some Z790 units over to EVGA EU website so we European people can buy it to. If customer service is great why not send some units over to EVGA EU (located in Germany) some Z790 units and allow people with a special code to buy it. Just an idea. Otherwise the existence of EVGA EU makes ABSOLUTELY no sense at all tired of that web site being a empty troll site for YEARS now.

uplink_svk We live in a rather fleeting times. We might as well be dead by Christmas, or New Year, due to moron Putin and other world leaders, so waiting for a new hardware and playing games in higher framerate is a thing of a time privilege. Covid and now USA/NATO/EU/UA vs. RU war presents us with great potential narrowing of our life span and thus people won't want to wait "for another quarter", or "half a year" for a better, polished and heavily superior product. People will go after low hanging fruit, and that's that.

Your comments were much appreciated and spoke to the core of the matter. Indeed a tech-generation essentially lasts for a mere 12 months time. Future proofing any PC hardware is practically now impossible and to staying ahead of innovation. Yes we all are living in rather fleeting times and the future is looking bleak for especially the man on the street. For me and in contending with all the ails of the world, I will just concentrate for now in playing my games in higher framerates and building a brand new system every two years. Simply a retirement thing of time and privilege, besides for me it being for now the most low-hanging fruit. Greetings from a 32-acre log cabin in Stehekin, WA. I obviously would like to see as many people as possible in buying from EVGA and especially after the recent GPU divorce. But AMAZON today lists the Z690 KP for $830 and not the $450 price as quoted on the EVGA website. Why is that? It’s not exactly something simply to be overlooked? At the same time today the “Classified” is now featured by EVGA at $629. This does not making sense. All of this said many now opting for grabbing a Z690 Classified are probably hoping for a $299 purchase opportunity down the line? Of course what do I know! I am still wanting to understand the tech-market overall and its quirky marketing strategies, and especially in our times of total economic uncertainties and tech hardware sales have been spiraling down with no apparent end in sight!

Actually it does make sense. The Classified is not in stock, probably all sold out so a discount is irrelevant. The Kingpin, looks like they're trying to get rid of excess stock just before the Z790 is released. You shocked me when you said the Kingpin was on Amazon. That must mean the overstock is more than I expected. Price? Can't explain that!

By the way, that scenery picture is absolutely gorgeous. You actually live there?

I'm on the auto notify list for the Z790 Dark Kingpin, waiting for it to drop.

Last month was tempted to go with the Asus Z790 Extreme but seen the early reviews ,.. decided to wait for EVGA Z790 Dark.

I'v had no issues with my Z690 Dark Kingpin it is solid, running DDR5 6600, i9-12900K.

Looking forward to running DDR5 7600, 7800 with the Z790 Dark.

Braegnok I'm on the auto notify list for the Z790 Dark Kingpin, waiting for it to drop. Last month was tempted to go with the Asus Z790 Extreme but seen the early reviews...decided to wait for EVGA Z790 Dark. I'v had no issues with my Z690 Dark Kingpin it is solid, running DDR5 6600, i9-12900K.

Indeed a lot of people like us are waiting to see what will ultimately shake itself out in our direction! I am currently running a Z690 Classified with excellent results and performance. The Asus Z790 ($999) Extreme most certainly broached my mind as well in my absolute impatience in wanting to build another all new system and especially getting the parts on the table before the big snow here in Stehekin, WA arrives. Naturally over the past several months I have been blaming EVGA in not stepping-up to the bar in a timely manner with their KP Z790. Meanwhile I also had an itch in going for the Z690 KP now on sale for $450 and it being a sweet deal requiring a scratch. Friends at the local computer show in Wenatchee professed that the tech-difference between a Z690 and Z790 MB is not exactly mind-blowing. But that any late EVGA KP Z690 MB acquisition should include the purchasing of a 13900K with a BIOS flashback to really making it count!

I told my blond girlfriend that I would give her my current and mint condition Classified desktop, but she turned me down flat in a mere blink of an eye. Her comment: “Girls only use laptops!” I told her that my EVGA Classified system can do the walk and do the talk and has attributes which are uniquely visible. But that surely fell onto her deaf ears and as she walked and danced across the room in her high heels with a flash of her whirling dress and leaving me with a taste of her red lipstick on my mouth. Well with the new EVGA Z790 having a 12-layer PCB takes my breath away and I will most certainly then have something real tangible and weighty in my hands.

Yep, still waiting here as well.  Wish we could pre-order to show support and the level of interest for EVGA.  I watched all the BF/CM deals go by and hope it wasn't a waste....

Re: Pre-order date for the Z790 Dark 2022/12/11 09:19:04 (permalink)
lordkahless Is there a pre-order date that can be shared for the Z790 Dark?  A lot of us have the 13900K on pre order for shipping on October 20th.  We just need to know if we will be able to order the Z790 Dark to arrive about the same time we get our CPU's.  So we aren't sitting on CPU's and no board.

It was great to see the KP Z790 coalesce and now becoming more concrete and right in time before Christmas. We heard it’s the initial announcement a while ago, saw the basic architecture leaked but no confirmation when the new KP Z790 would actually be hitting the retail shelves. You are correct many of us are now sitting on ‘hot- coals’ with most of our new system build hardware already purchased. And hoping that components will not reach a near obsolescence before the new “Mother” arrives. I for one was under the distinct impression that the new KP would be available for purchase already this past November given that the EVGA divorce from NVIDIA would be forcing badly needed cash infusions from new sales. I was also very surprised that the no Z790 KP reservations or pre-purchase mechanisms existed on the EVGA website. Very much like NEWEGG, STEAM and others promote to push and drive sales. I also think that we are prone not to see the new Z790 KP until early 2023 as we are logically already passed the prime holiday buying season. I again offered my blond girlfriend my existing “Classy” system so that I can keep myself busy and happy over the winter months here in Stehekin, WA and in my log cabin in the sky. In the following winter months we are expecting 110 inches of snow. Her response: “Girls simply do not use desktops and you better be ready to play with me!”

10 feet of snow and you'll have a log cabin roof but that's about it, the rest will be buried.

After building my Mrs a new desktop (link), I can attest that she spends almost all of her personal online time on her Samsung Galaxy Pro Book (birthday present). ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
