Z690 Classified Question

Hi all.
I have a brand new build with Z690 Classified, EVGA 3090 TI FTW 3, Intel I7 12700k and EVGA 1300w PSU. So my question is is it completely necessary to hook up the 6 pin supply for the PCIE at the bottom left of the MOBO? I have a dual monitor setup with the Samsung Odyssey ARK 55 and 49'' LG NANO85, The Samsung is connected via HDMI and the LG connected VIA Display port adapted to HDMI and when I try to boot with both monitors hooked up I get ab on the MOBO and black screens. If I disconnect the LG everything works normally other than an unusually long boot time.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

    NO on the aux power port on MB
     
    have you run EVGA Precision X1 & updated the firmware yet ?  Helps with DP issue
     
    Some DP monitors will not "wake" - (show signal) till the BOOT gets to the Windows screen - before the firmware Update

    Yes I have updated to 1.15 and no i have not run precision x yet.
