yes, they did say that is the case for the founders edition only and they did not speak for other vendors, but what they said is very relevant to my situation because I have the founders edition and currently damage to the 21vhpwr port is the only type of warranty work I am worried about because it seems to be the most common fault these cards have. also I know me personally I am not going to try to sue over a $1700 card if they void the warranty, I will either try to get it fixed elsewhere or sell it for parts, the only way I would do more than that is if it actually caused a house fire. I know this because Asus voided the warranty on my RTX3080 TUF gaming card that I burned the 8 pin PCIe connector on because I stupidly used a pigtailed power cord to power the two plugs on the card and the main plug that the pigtail was connected to burned up in the card messing up the connector on the power supply cable and the port on the card I tried to clean out the port and used two other pcie power connectors from that power supply but the charred pins in the burned up port on the graphics card were creating a bad connection causing it to over heat and burn a second pcie power cable on that power supply I ended up getting a shop to replace the pcie power ports on that graphics card they also upgraded the thermal pads and paste for the card.  but between the time of trying to get it warranty fixed through Asus and finding a shop to actually fix it I got the 3090 ti for that computer and replaced the power supply with a 1600w from evga and the PerFe 12 for it and now I also have a 4090 for my main machine and that Asus 3080 is sitting on the piano in the living room right now doing nothing because I don't have a use for it. to recap I have paid for the card, paid to have it shipped twice, and paid to have it repaired to end up with a card I don't want and isn't worth what I have invested into it. not an exact same situation but similar enough that I know I should keep my warranty in tact before I end up with another expensive paper weight.

So I read a few posts saying EVGA would have a 4090 power cable but seems they are all from 2022. Can I assume that EVGA is not going to release a cable to work with the 4090 for their power supplies?

Indeed 6 months ago and more. At this point i wouldn't expect their X670E boards, the ATX3.0/PCIE5.0 PSU or the 12VHPWR cable either.

Man, it's been over 6 months and still nothing? By this time you guys should've came out with a whole new line of ATX 3.0 PSUs, let alone a simple cable.

EVGA's SuperFlower power supplies have been my go-to choice for the last ~9 years (since the G2 days to be exact). Built/sold a lot of PCs with your PSUs for my customers and im currently running a B2 in my personal build. I was eying the P6 or G6 for my new RTX4090 build but I changed my mind and I thought it would be better to go with an ATX 3.0 PSU that comes with 16pins for the sake of future-proofing myself...and from what I've been reading/seeing here with EVGA PSUs, things are looking stagnant.

It truly saddens me seeing EVGA in this state as of late, seems like the company is slowly dying.

Im not up-to-date with the PSU market for the last couple of years, so can someone please suggest an on-par alternative for me? A SuperFlower-based design is preferrable since it's proven. Hopefully it's not against the terms to talk about competitors, but since EVGA doesn't have any ATX 3.0 I thought it shouldn't be a problem.

Is the EVGA PerFE 12 Cable suitable for "low power" RTX4000 series graphics cards for 4070 for example? I'm not talking about RTX4090, but soon RTX4060ti will be presented on next week and I have SuperNova G2 1300W and this cable.

It should be as the connection is a standard that is recently started. As for the delay for EVGA I would think it's because it has only really been used on expensive NVIDIA cards which also come with an adapter so the interest isn't huge right now in the mass marketplace.

Nope.  Use adapters supplied with the card.  EVGA has no dedicated cable and probably never will.

This cable works on the G/G+ series power supplies and other series power supplies also. I use it and have no problems with it at all.
