I'm running an i5 12400 (stopgap before 13900k) on my Z690 Classy and would like to push the chip as far as I can since it's liquid cooled. I'm seeing any options to push this CPU further on this board. Obviously, it doesn't support overclock as it's not a K SKU but I'd like it to boost all cores to their max since I have plenty of cooling headroom.

I don't think they give you the option to change it, but I'm pretty sure it's maxed out by default (unless they put limits in for non-k series). If you go into Intel XTU you can see what it's set at.

It was a bit of a pain to get XTU to install on a non-K SKU but I was able to get it working. Looks like it is PL2 by default. Thanks

On my z590 FTW, HWInfo64 shows PL1 & PL2. I imagine it will work for the Z690 Classy.

Can you share a screenshot? I don't know where to look and I'm not seeing that anywhere in HWinfo64

Don't forget it's for my Z590 FTW.

That's my customized layout.
You might need the standard layout to find it:

Open in new tab to see it bigger.

Also note, the value that you see there is because no limit is set.

Z690 Classified and Dark both have external clock generators, so yes, you can overclock. I'm at 4650Mhz, with single core boost to 5.1Ghz. 1.22v.

On a i5 12400? Did you achieve this clock just by adjusting the BCLK and CPU voltage?
