Most likely it is an error on the website, and support can correct it.

Yeah, I called, I still dont like the answer.  I was told original warranty applies, yet when I look at the GPU status it says 181 days remaining and to contact evga if wrong.

I contacted and was told the system isnt that smart, it goes off date purchased and suffix.  My model is being replaced from a 4861-KL to a 4865-RX.

And while the support tech did his best to explain it to me.  I cant unsee that 181 days, and if anything happens again*God, I hope like hell 3rd time is a charm and I dont need to contact rma again* if some the card should have issues say in 7 or 8 month, and I attempt to rma it, because the system, as stated by EVGA, isnt that smart, it might say, sorry, your warranty is over, you cant be helped.

The system sees 182 days instead of 913 days.

So in 181 days that RMA option will be gone.  I dont like that, and like I said.  The guy was really nice on the phone and did his best to explain it to me, but I cant shake the feeling that this isnt correct.  I lose access to rma in 6 month.  Support didnt resolve the issue.   He said my warranty expires in 2025, over the phone.   But if I should need to rma it again.  I am not ok with just "Let's cross that bridge when the time comes".

So I would love to get this somehow resolved to ensure in writing, my warranty isnt going to expire in 6 month.

Let me send a message and see if this can get resolved for you. I completely understand that feeling, and would rather see the correct numbers as well.

It's a backend programming error.  Any EVGA CS Rep that looks up your account will be able to see that this product will be under the full duration of your warranty from your original card.

I'll have our programming team look into it and fix it.

Because in 182 days any online option to RMA, should I need to, will be removed from your website for my RMA, despite my warranty being for 900+ days still.

Case in point.  The day my 1080 ti warranty expired, the option to RMA was gone.   I thankfully never had to RMA it.  That card was a beast of nature.

The second replacement card is a B-Stock (refurbished) part number, indicated by the "-RX" SKU. So while you were "upgraded" to an 4865 (XC3 Ultra), the unit is not "new" (at least by the SKU).
For example: https://www.evga.com/products/ProductList.aspx?type=8&family=GeForce+30+Series+Family&chipset=RTX+3080
B-stock SKUs only carry a 1 year warranty. Hence why you are only seeing 182 days left because the system sees the SKU as a B-stock refurbished card with a purchase date of 3/22/2022.

Well that is some crappy news.  I paid for a brand new GPU that died in 4 month, the rma also died, now I am getting a USED gpu?  Why did I bother buying a brand new gpu?  I am really regretting selling my gtx 1080 ti.

The GPU won’t be removed from the website, it will still be there, and evga will be able to see the entire chain of RMA’s:

Everything will still be there, and would just require you to start an RMA. Like I said in the previous messages, it would still be better to show it is under warranty for the full term.

Most -RX cards are step up turn-ins in good condition. This isn’t always true, of course, but most of them are.

This is not correct, which is why I mentioned this is a programming error.

Generally, we replace cards that have a retail warranty (-KR, -KL, -KB, -KH, etc.) with a new card if an issue happens within the first 30 days of purchase, if stock is available.  After 30-days, replacement cards will almost invariably be recertified, unless we don't have any recertified cards (e.g. during a new launch).  Although the replacement card you get on your account may show -KR or similar, there's a specific digit within your serial number that marks it as being a replacement received from RMA.

With the exception of new replacements, RMA and B-Stock cards are both recertified cards; they will just get marked with different part numbers and serial number stickers depending on when we pack them, based on whether we expect them to go to RMA or later be sold as B-Stock.  Both are tested to the same standards, and both come from the same pool of returned cards.

Even when people receive an RMA replacement marked as -RX, the warranty on the product should still show the remaining warranty of the original product.  This is why this is a programming issue.

Don't worry, they will not be able to service anyone's warranty soon enough.
