I purchased my RTX 3080 Ti FTW3 ULTRA GAMING on 07/26/2022 and was planning on purchasing the extended warranty this week, which is well within the 90-day time period to purchase it as stated on the website. But today it has replaced the purchase option with the statement "Note: The EVGA Extended Warranty Program is currently unavailable." What happened??

This may directly coincide with EVGA not producing any more graphics cards for the time being. You should contact evga at support@evga.com for clarification, because users on the forum won’t have an answer, only guesses.

Yup I noticed this too, and the fact RMA's people are getting their extended warranties downgraded to getting a slight upgrade means they are already running out of 30 series cards already. Probably due to the new in box killer sales, and the b-stock prices dropping so much they sort of got rid of too much inventory.

I was gonna post here but I see I'm not the first. All the whiners can be thanked for that. Just went to register my card tonight as well and no more option for extended. I did get the MicroCenter 2 year so I can fall on that if need be I guess.

So they say, but they all come from the same pool. It just depends on where they allocate them. If they allocate too many for sales, they have less to allocate for RMAs.

As you noted, the Extended Warranty program is currently unavailable for VGA and MB products. Customers with existing extended warranty purchases still have the benefit of their extended warranty. ty_ger07

Correct, but we constantly review our allocation and will absorb B-Stock products back into our RMA pool as needed.

I was going to buy it then the announcement came in that day, was hesitant. Then when I went to go buy it was no longer an option. Kind of killed my confidence to keep the rest of my cards extended warranties.

My (2) EVGA FTW3 1080Ti Hybrids are still purring ... figured with the Hybrid the 10 yr warranty (especially old prices) Worth It  Status: In WarrantyDays Left: 1852
