I know that the GPU is purchased from NVIDIA, has EVGA put all of their allocated GPUs on to cards? Or will we still see more 3080/3090 models being released?

NOPE! EVGA only keeping a back up supply, for future possible RMA issues. Unfortunately you going to have to look at other brands. Some sellers still have the EVGA RTX 3090 TI FTW, AKA "Lovelace" at greatly inflated prices. Whatever EVGA has left is the only pickings you have and I have looked, it is not much, that would be any GPUs period.

No more new cards are coming in. You can find some at some retailers/etailers, you will have more luck at a local retailer... This is it no more cards. What they have on hand is all they have, b-stock they will keep some to RMA and will continue to honor it until they close their doors. Whenever that will be.

Thanks, I know they are holding for warranty, but somewhere I heard they have more than enoug for that in the warehouses currently, so I was wonderingif more high end cards would end up showing up on shelves.

Once existing stock is sold that is it. No more 30 series video cards.

It’s safe to say that no board partner is going to be making new 30 series cards other than the lower end not covered by the 4080 and 4090 replacements. The lower end ones in the 40 series will eventually be announced.
As for EVGA it seems like chip shipments ended a while back.

The youtubers are leading us to believe that ALL 30 series production has stopped. The only reason that the lower tier 40 series has not been released is that there is a tremendous quantity of those already produced 30 series models in inventory that must be sold. The recent sales supposedly have almost depleted the higher end.

I have the opportunity to get a brand new in sealed box 3090 FTW, I'm strongly considering it. But the return period is 30 days, I wouldn't get a 4090 at this juncture so the competition ofr my purchase would be the 4080. I won't get benchmark numbers within 30 days, so if there actually is a huge generational improvement... I'm really not looking forward to, if something goes wrong, dealing with the crap customer support of other vendors. Does EVGA still sell the extended warranty upon registration?

Note: The EVGA Extended Warranty Program is currently unavailable. https://www.evga.com/warranty/extended/
Since EVGA has stopped making NVIDIA video cards there is no reason for the extended warranty program to continue.

Does this mean that when buying a new card then that if things go wrong there's a chance that no RMA process will be available?

Just having a look now, there appears to be no cards in stock whatsoever for 3090Ti, 3090, 3080Ti, 3080 (12GB), and the only 3080 (10gb) and 3070Ti cards available are the XC3 Ultra version of each... There's a few B-stock cards, but that's it. I'm thinking EVGA are holding them for RMA service to cover the next few years.
