The announcement and what happens if my card fails down the line?

I have always purchased EVGA cards, your guys customer support is second to none in the industry, this PC is still running 2 SLI Titans.

Likewise I have a 3090 FTW3 ULTRA GAMING with the extended 10 year warranty.

GN says you are carrying extra stock for such problems, but we all know those stocks dont last forever.

What happens 5 years down the line for example if my card dies? The likelihood you have the stock to repair or replace this is very very low. Or even more extreme, what about 9 years down the line? When the likelihood is next to 0.

Can we get an official position on this, as it does matter as to what your future plans are right up until the last 10 year warranty expires. Will you be providing a replacement card from another manufacturer, or will it be "sorry SOL"?

I'm also having this same question, and feel it needs to be answered by EVGA.

Same question. You folks knew of this since April and still hiked the price on extended warranties for GPUs. Absolutely shady af.

5 years down the road, EVGA won't even be around. Not sure if you guys have heard of BFG, but BFG had lifetime warranty on its GPUs, and BFG had been out of business. So, you know the answer.

Latest news makes many of us wonder how long EVGA will be around to honor warranties.

Official statement from EVGA says they will continue to stand by and support products.

Based on the video by Jay he said EVGA has a formula to figure out how many GPU they need to handle the RMA expectations.

It’s the same as how EVGA could have been out of stock on 30 series cards but still had an RMA supply to meet the demand.

    The question is, how?

Lets not forget some of us have warranties that expire in nearly a decade, assuming EVGA isnt dead as a company by then, I doubt they will be maintaining stock for that length of time for late card failures.

Without a graphics card arm anymore then its of significant concern that we paid a chunk of money for something they physically wont be able to support.

So we are owed and idea of the "plan B" if they do run out of stocks.

i dont know where the post is now but some evga tech posted yesterday that evga knows failure rates and has kept sufficient stock to honour their warranty commitments.
will evga be a business then? maybe paris to new york will step in again and halp a fellow "american" manufacturer if evga doesnt last 9 more years.

Weak response. You shouldn't even come in here if that BS is all you had prepared to say.

Personally, I'd like my $270 back for the extended warranty.

I paid for 10 years warranty EVGA 3090 FTW3 Ultra.... i want a clear statement of EVGA ( official and formal communication ) of what is going to happen with my warranty, are 10 YEARS! in 10 Years are they going to have available products or stock or technical parts to cover this product?  since yesterday they are not going to cover/sale New Nvidia GPUs.... or other GPU brands too-

i am really worried/concerned about what is going to happen with my warranty.

My apologies but this current situation sounds very strange to me. lets see if in 8 years ..... my money? my warranty? my GPU? EVGA support?

I'm in the exact same boat as you. I definitely would just prefer a refund on my extended warranty. Going to contact support about this if EVGA doesn't make an official statement soon.

Give it at least a week maybe 2. They announced this by a youtube video on a friday at like 6pm. Its the weekend right now so the absolute earliest they would likely address this is monday. But even then they might want to make what they have to say more professional and writing it well could take more time

Some of you need to read the fine print... those of us who agreed to it there are terms...
"Extended Warranties are non-transferable and non-refundable. If a product with an Extended Warranty is purchased by a second-hand owner, the extended warranty becomes null and void, and the warranty reverts to the standard second-hand product warranty in accordance with the EVGA Global Warranty terms and conditions."
EVGA - Warranty - Extended Warranty

We are not getting a refund, I do not even see EVGA having a supply left or the company being alive in 3 years let alone 5-10 years. Just like when BFG went out of business, they sold their GPU division to PNY "Andrew Han said hes not selling and ready to go down with the ship", PNY handled BFG's warranty, but the limited lifetime was PNY's limited lifetime meaning the lifetime of the product until EOL. So A lot of BFG owners got the shaft in the end anyways sadly. That will probably be the case for us as well, seeing the prices dropped on everything on evga's website to get it out, b-stock prices way down to get it to move. Owners of brand new cards under the 30 day window getting b-stock replacements when they should be brand new. Yeah.

10 years is a long time, in that time EVGA could very well be not around anymore OR they could be return to the GPU market.

There are a myriad of ways for any organization to support their obligations. There are a large number of reinsurance firms and support organizations. Since this is fairly new, it may be best to see what happens over the next few weeks. This can break a number of ways. This forum is filled with too much conjecture, rumor and innuendo. I am not saying things are clear, but we can be a bit patient in the quest to get the customer service that we have grown accustomed to from EVGA.
