Hello, I just finished building a new rig with mobo as the EVGA Z690 DARK KINGPIN and GPU as the EVGA GeForce RTX 3090 Ti FTW3. Per EVGA's website, this specific GPU has a PCI slot size of 3.5. I have a second EVGA GeForce RTX 3090 Ti FTW3 on the way. However, I am concerned the mobo cannot fit two EVGA 3090 TI. Can someone please clarify this? Thank you for your time. Sincerely, x3rulion

EVGA lists Both the 3090 & 3090Ti as Compatible with the EVGA GeForce RTX NVLink SLI Bridge for RTX 3090, 4-Slot Spacing, 100-2W-0130-LR Looks like it will be tight - maybe 1/4 to 1/2 slot space -or- Less, between GPUs ? Your new build is already assembled? If not, place the MB in your case and check the spacing - by counting the PCIe covers on back of case

EVGA GeForce RTX 3090 occupies 2.75 slots, whereas EVGA GeForce RTX 3090 Ti occupies 3.5 slots, and I cannot tell if the picture you linked is showing a 3090 or a 3090 Ti. Yes, my new build is already assembled. I am just waiting for the 2nd EVGA GeForce RTX 3090 Ti to arrive.

The pictures are linked to the 3090 not the 3090Ti. The cards will be sandwiched together. Your top card will be getting all of the heat from the bottom card. Hope you have great air flow on the cards. I hope you also have at least a minimum 1600Watt PSU as you will need it to even run 2 cards.

Thank you for the prompt reply and clarifying the GPU series that are linked in the picture. I am relieved to hear that I can fit 3090 Ti x 2, and I understand the fit will be tight. I will need to assess the airflow and tweak as needed. In terms of PSU, I have a Corsair AX 1600i, and I am hoping it will be enough.

FWIW, depending on your planned load, 1600w is absolutely not going to be enough for say, a mild OC on 12900K/S + 2x 3090Ti with the xoc vbios + semi-aggressive overclock. At a modest 1.225 nvvdd, my kingpins draw over 700w each. I use 2x 1600w power supplies when I bench them. GL

zippytek No issues with 2x 3090Ti kingpins on z690 dark photos in the link above, please let me know if I can answer any questions
Thank you for the prompt reply. EVGA GeForce RTX 3090 Ti K|NGP|N HYBRID GAMING has a PCI slot size of 2 and EVGA GeForce RTX 3090 Ti FTW3 BLACK GAMING (24G-P5-4985-KR) has a PCI slot size of 3.5. I believe this is why you were able to fit 3090 Ti K|NGP|N x 2. I already have a EVGA GeForce RTX 3090 Ti FTW3 BLACK GAMING (24G-P5-4985-KR) installed so I think what I have to do is cancel my second EVGA GeForce RTX 3090 Ti FTW3 BLACK GAMING (24G-P5-4985-KR) order and order either a 24G-P5-4988-KR or a 24G-P5-3998-KR (once they are back in stock).

So, is the second GPU slot available or covered by the first 3090Ti on your MB? GPUs can work when close, it does work best with blower type cards My test Rig, before water blocks added to 3 GPUs

The 2nd GPU slot is available. Yes, in order to facilitate heat removal, I plan on getting 24G-P5-4988-KR (instead of a 2nd 24G-P5-4985-KR) as my 2nd GPU once it is back in stock.
