 I bought 2. Both had scroll jumping (annoying and unusable), one had USB errors (bad cable). I put some Deoxit on the scroll encoders and replaced the bad cable.
 
Both are working fine now.
 
Used:
Deoxit
a new cable
an appropriate screwdriver
a needle to swap the new USB cable wires onto the existing USB cable connector

Could you do a video of the cable replacement?
Also, which Deoxit did you use? there's a LOT to choose from
