I'm building another PC, a few hours ago I posted to the bios, put on DOCP, enabled Resize BAR, then hit save and restart. I then turned off the PC to put in my windows drive, then I hit the power button then it jus won't display.
Like I hit restart, put my windows drive in, then I hit the power button then nothing comes up.
To troubleshoot I put my 6600XT inside the rig I'm working on, it works fine, but sometimes I get stuck in ASUS bios (?) like I exit out of it then it jus loops me right back to the bios, I have to hard restart to go into the desktop. (I have no idea if this is the cause ? or how to fix it) Then I put the 3060 in my current rig (the one where the 6600XT would be) then it works perfectly, I'm able to get the display to my desktop, ain't really sure wht could be the problem.
I've tried resetting CMOS, reseating the RAM ( I haven't tried taking only one out tho), Factory Default in bios, I've reseat all the other motherboard power cables, switched the pcie cable, downgraded the bios multiple times, and take out the peripherals, nothing I have done has worked so far to get it to post.
I'm thinking I should jus restart everything from scratch ? but I'm not sure how to do that, I'm also unsure if I hit anything in the bios to make it stop working entirely, but I doubt it since I'm able to get a display on my personal build.
The build is:
B550-F gaming WIFI 2
corsair rm850x
crucial ballistiix 16gb 3200mhz
EVGA rtx 3060
Ryzen 7 5800x
