Seeing the prices of the 30 series cards drop so much, I'm tempted to buy one.  I have one question.  With the new 40 series right around the corner, will we be able to step up from the 30 series to the 40 series?

    They won’t announce that until the on-shelf date. It would breach any NDA there is.

    Based on history, yes they will, but that can’t be your only decision basis. NVidia is known to change launch dates and also decide not to say a thing when a sudden change occurs.

    Think back to the 3090ti announcement, saying in the middle of January that there would be more info before the end of January… then complete radio silence for over two full months, without board partners or NVidia saying anything.

    Basically, you risk buying a card, and NVidia stalling, completely out of EVGA’s control, so think before you take the chance. If you think it’s worth it, go for it.

    Thank you for your insightfulness and wisdom. I do want to upgrade my card but I agree, it is better for me to wait.
