I think it will come down to how many amps are on that circuit (15 or 20). 20 should be no problem.
With 15 amps, you would need to know the specifics of the type of circuit breaker installed and if it can handle 80 or 100% load (NEC code). If it's an 80% load breaker, your max draw would be 1440w before it trips. So there could be an issue. Keep in mind that other things plugged in (like monitors) will increase load. Also be mindful that many house receptacles are on a shared (non dedicated) lines.
