I placed an order last night for the $199 1600 P+ ($179 with associate code). I now see the P2 is on sale for $229, which is a very well-reviewed Super Flower power supply, albeit, an older design but still rock-solid. I'm reading conflicting stories about the P+ variant and am wondering what you guys would do? I got free shipping on the P+ so I would only be out about $20 to ship it back. Then, $30 more for the P2.

The plan is a 13900K with a 4090. I like having plenty of power supply headroom, hence why I went with a 1600w.

Either one should do the job.

I had that P+ psu for a short time.. mine was fine but my old cablemod cables would not work eith it.. different pins used on the psu main cable connection.

Anyways.. after reading so many complain about the coil whine noise from it. I returned it and stuck my with 1300 g2.

If I was a buyer today.. yeah the T2 P2 for sure!

With the P2 that cheap.. yup that's what I'd be buying.

Thanks for posting this. It’s the same question I had. I just cancelled my P+ order and snagged a P2. I saw a lot of reviews saying the P+ is stupid loud despite EVGA claiming the P+ is quieter.
