I feel so betrayed by the green little fella.

Waiting over a year for my 3783, how can I see the que progress now?

Sorry to break it to you, but I believe all the queues are officially dead now.
To my understanding, the last queue (3090ti KPE) just died a couple of days ago.

It probably won't be until 40 series until we see any more queues.

The queues are gone at this point.  EVGA discontinued the queue system due to more cards being in stock and several queues actually finishing all the cards.  In early July, I reported 3783 was in stock, very briefly.  As in it ran out of stock before I could make the forum post.  Now 3783 doesn't even have an "out of stock" banner.

Will the step up prices drop to reflect what they are being sold for by not using the step up?

A few 30 series disappeared from EVGA's website.  The ones I identified are as follows:
Now there are no water cooled non-Ti 3090s listed on the EVGA store.

I'm sure he's very upset that he'll have to settle for thousands of dollars for his EVGA bucks instead. he can just buy one on ebay.

I never had any doubt that was what was happening from the beginning. Why else would he put the time and effort in if not for acquiring EVGA bucks? He couldn't possibly ever spend them all on himself, so they had to be going to cards to scalp. Or if not he saved them up and is getting a huge payout now.

I was hanging out in the original thread quite a bit at the beginning and I saw first hand how he took over the spreadsheet and pushed Nereus out of updating it by creating his own after the original was trashed.

What other reason did you guys think he was doing this for other than to get as many EVGA bucks as possible? No one puts in this amount of time and effort unless they are getting something out of it. He seemed very shady from the beginning to me. He suddenly joined the forums right when the 30 series launched and had no contributions other than to update this thread and the original spreadsheet. It was never anything but a grift and people were more than happy to fill his EVGA buck coffers all day long every day.

I really hope the 40 series is more available and we can go back to a normal market so there will no longer be a need for a queue or whatever. Before the 30 series, new series of cards would or course sell out at first, but become available in a few weeks or a month at most. Let's hope we can go back to that. It will help if interest in mining keeps going down.

enewt...did you go dark for vacation?

I did.  Just back from Europe.  Ate way too much fried cheese and olive oil, but it was fantastic.  Downsides: (1) enewt jr. is now head over heals in love with F1 (not a horrible thing), (2) her soccer skills have waned -- two weeks without touching a ball (not a good thing), and (3) I appear to have missed the 3090 Ti KPE launch (no comment).

Upsides: spent loads of time with the family, my brother's family and a bunch of museums and ancient artifacts.

Just now digging out of all of the DMs I received re the 3090 Ti KPE launch and other stuff. Thanks for the correspondence.

Stopped by to see how you warriors are doing. I sure hope you guys have ended up with what you wanted. A bit sad to see no response from mr enewt in quite sometime. Hope he is alright.

I am fine, but just read through the thread...ouch.

I guess an amphibian cannot take his first vacation in two plus years without some blowback.

The airbnb my brother rented was supposed to have wifi...it didn't.  So, yeah, I was offline for an extended period of time. I also chose not to tell people I was going on vacation -- seemed like a dumb idea to broadcast that I was going to be out of town for an extended time...there are some folks in these forums that know me personnally.

So when I left the country I wasn't expecting to be offline for two full weeks...but that is what happened.

gsrcrxsi
he's fine. he just can't monetize this thread anymore so he's gone. that should tell you what you need to know.

same reason kram stopped posting in his in-stock spam thread.

just remember "tHeY pRoViDe A sErViCe"

Kram stopped the moment the change was announced.  I was still providing the summary through to my vacation departure date.

Et tu, zippytek?

In all seriousness, I am sorry I didn't better communicate the vacation. I had anticipated being able to be online in the evenings; that didn't happen.

I am proud of the work that was reflected in the daily queue summaries and I hope it helped folks. As I have said numerous times, being part of this community made my wait easier.

For those interested, I likely won't be taking another vacation anytime soon (the 12 hour flight back to LAX was a bit like a medical flight (everybody was coughing up a lung...so far we amphibians are yet to show any symptoms)).

Don't get me wrong, we love F1 over in our pond. But her new found EXTREME love manifested with her taking my mobile phone for both flights...motorsport manager 3 is a great (unlicensed) mobile game for F1 fans....  I guess I am reacting to the fact that she has now done at least five seasons of racing while I am still stuck on my second in that game.  I should have provided more context for the comment.

Best of luck with the EU queues.

Interesting timing, but whatever, you're here now. I noted that you had logged in to the forums a couple of times over those 2+ weeks, but just hadn't posted.

I've responded to your comment on the other thread. Again, I was very thankful for the help with the spreadsheets (and even relieved), and yes, I see you did start helping late in October, not after a couple of months as I initially thought (although it certainly felt like months), but I was not at all happy with the way I was pushed out, that is really what got me - and all the praise you 'humbly' accepted while never acknowledging that much of that initial data had been entered and compiled by someone else. That's really the crux of it. Just a little thanks is all it would have taken. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

If the 3.0 queue system is in effect for the 4000 series, it will be much harder to follow since everything is score and previous purchase (within the 4000 series) based along with only being able to queue up for a max of 2 cards and purchase of 1 will re-align your queue position for the other.

The spreadsheets and tracking really did help give a sense of where you stood in the queues. I ended up queuing up and getting I think 2 cards in the 2.0 queue? (KPE 3090, 3060) and they definitely helped, thanks Nereus (or whoever kickstarted it originally).

It was a guy named Mark (not me, another Mark) who actually created the first few spreadsheets, but he wasn't maintaining / updating them, and very few people were adding their info, so I started adding all the notifications from the forum and maintaining the spreadsheets and separating new models etc. Once I started doing that, more people noticed and were posting their notifications in the forum thread like crazy and it took off.

I mostly liked seeing some sort of indication of where my place in the queue was too - an actual number, that was one good thing about the spreadsheets. Having just a time stamp could mean there were 25 people in front of you or 250 people in front of you or 2,500 people in front of you, there was no way of knowing.. but of course that method was a hell of a lot easier to maintain, as enewt figured out.

With the advent of queue 3.0 and the EVGA score, it's become pretty close to impossible to get any reasonable indication of your place in the queue when there's multiple factors influencing it.

I'm forever grateful EVGA implemented a queue though - that was much more than any other etailer did.

Agreed.  EVGA showed up for its consumers and fans with the queue system in a way that no other etailer or AIB partner pursued. It is to their everlasting credit that they saw so many of us successfully through the 30 series tech update cycle. Huge kudos to EVGA_JacobF, his team, the customer service and, especially, the shipping department -- I imagine they had to ramp the hardest and quickest when EVGA pivoted to driving substantially more sales through their e-Store than ever before.

Re: EVGA Queue Summary 2022/07/17 14:45:14 (permalink)
Last week (the week of July 11) was only the third week where no new 30 series SKUs appeared in stock since they started appearing the week of March 7.  The only other two weeks were March 28 and May 30.  The only noteworthy things the graphics cards did was remove all water-cooled non-Ti 3090s from store pages and make 3755-LK and 3755-KR available simultaneously.

There are now only 4 SKUs left that haven't reached a "resolution" in queue status yet:
  • 3971 (3090 XC3 Black, no queue drop reports ever)
  • 3953 (3080 Ti XC3 Gaming, last June 2021 card)
  • 3753 (3070 XC3 Gaming)
  • 1999 (3090 K|NGP|N HC kit)

Folder of EVGA queue documents (Google Drive)
30 series queue sheet (Google Sheets, Excel online)
Queue 3.0 spreadsheet (Google Sheets)
EVGA 3080 Ti FTW3 Ultra (3967), i7-3770k, NZXT Kraken X60, Samsung 1TB mSATA SSD, Gigabyte Z77X-UP5 TH, Corsair HX1000i, ASUS Blu-Ray drive, Viewsonic XG270.
