Long story short: I replaced my 3080 Ti FTW3 Ultra with the Hybrid model.  Later, I was able to get a hybrid cooler kit at a great price, so I essentially have an extra 3080 Ti FTW3 Ultra Hybrid.  I can't get what I want for it so far, so I figured that I'd use it.
Does anyone have any experience with dual RTX GPUs and is there any benefit to running dual RTX GPUs?  I've watched videos from 2 years ago, but I'm not seeing any videos running the same benchmarks within the past couple years, and I'm not sure if any software updates have made any major changes worth looking into this now.  I know that SLI is dead, considering there's not even an SLI port on the 3080 Ti, so I'm not sure if dual GPUs is even possible without SLI.
You can see my rig in my signature, so I have no doubt that my rig can handle whatever gets thrown at it.

    SLI is basically a dead technology.

    Technically it's possible for a game to use DirectX 12 to support multiple GPU's without SLI but it takes the games being made to support the feature and really not many do as most people are not using multiple GPU's. It's about the fact that it would take programmers working on something that only maybe 2% of GPU buyers would care about since it is not as good as true SLI or Crossfire is.

    If you are rendering and encoding, you may be able to leverage the second card, but gaming and benchmarking, probably not. Consider a second build with the second card or something similar.

    GPU advancements have been so good over the past few years that a single upper scale GPU can play any game at max framerates, except maybe for 5K and 8K.

    Ha... Cyberpunk 2077, MSFS 2020, Halo Infinite, Mass Effect Legendary, Crysis 1,2 and 3 remastered. All of those still need some comprise in settings to maintain a min frame rate over 60 FPS. Never mind my display's native 120hz.
