I am writing this because I am upset with EVGA's RMA service.
I requested a step up from a 3080TI to a 3090 and my turn arrived.
The card that I've received, has the red light problem and does'nt turn on, I had been without a computer for weeks, so I've asked for the advanced RMA, they make me pay €3,997 as a guarantee, I pay it, and the new received card has the same problem, red light.
I can't pay another collateral of almost €4,000, it seems quite unfair to me to have paid the guarantee and still be without a card, now they don't send me the graphics card until they receive the old one, they don't compensate me in any way?.

Is it possible to send me another card without paying the collateral again?.

I will send the step up card today.

Sorry if my english is bad.

The ridiculous collateral price should have been recently reduced. Check again.
Two cards back to back with a red light problem right out of the box? That seems suspicious. The red light could mean other simple things need to be resolved, and doesn't necessarily mean that the card has failed. Something as simple as a bad riser cable or loose PSU wire could cause a "red light problem".

I have 2 computers, the other one with a 3070, with that card the pc works perfect, i’m not using a riser and when i put the 3090 in the other computer, it fails too.

The psu is a corsair ax860i.

The 3070 and 3090 have very different power requirements. Can you confirm what power supply you are using? Also please confirm you are using three sperate PCIE cables for the 3090, with no daisy chain connectors.

Yes, the power supply has 3 separate connectors, i had a 3080TI FTW3 connected.

The second card worked one time, at the three minutes, black screen and after the restart, dead.

I’m not wrong, that cards are dead.

It looks like a new RMA has been started. I sent you a private message regarding this matter.

    Thanks for your help.

I'm dissapointed because i've paid almost 4000€ for an advanced RMA and now I have to wait anyway. I think EVGA should ship the replacement because i've opened the RMA request on thursday, it's monday and I still don't have the free shipping label, another 2 weeks without card, can you help me with this?.

I can't believe what is happening with this, after 4 days waiting for the free shipping label i received an email from the support center denying me that label, they want to pay me 50€ (the shipping costs are more than 100€).

To make this step up is the worst decision i've made in a lot of time, 2 dead on arrival cards, 1 month without PC and my credit card with 4000€ charged, I miss my fully functional 3080TI.
