Hi can anyone please help my gpu hitting its power limit really bad which causing my game to stutter as it down clocks max temp is 65 so I’ve got head room too bad it’s badly power limited at 240watts

Side note I’ve also raised power limit in x1 but still saying in power limit at 1440p

    Only thing you can do would be to flash a higher power limit vbios onto the card.

    Hi is there any you would recommend? I’ve flash bios on a old card before but I just wanna make sure I get the right one

    The ftw runs on a 2x 8pins where as 2070s is 8pin and 6pin would it still be ok

    Anything you try at this point is experimental. Using a 2x 8-pin vbios on your card may not work, but then again it might. If you’re trying to get the most power out of your card it’s something to try as the ftw3 vbios allows 338w. If you want to stick to a 1x 8-pin and 1x 6-pin vbios then this is the best one which will increase your power limit from 240 to 280… https://www.techpowerup.c...x2070super-8192-190728
