Okay, so weird thing.  I have saved power settings for my 3090 FTW Ultra and if I close X1 or reboot my computer, settings load, BUT, they do not include the fan settings.  The fans load as auto, not 100% as I have saved each time I load 0.  If I manually load 0, the fans go to 100% like I want.  Why doesn't the software actually load the full saved settings?

fan curve has its own check box is "Enable Automatic Control" checked?

found the same place you set a fan curve

you must first click Apply & then Save (to any active profile number) for any changes to "stick"

Then you also need to check "Apply Previous Settings On Load" -- found under the "Gear Icon" on the General tab

Thank you for the information.  When I look at the Fan Curve screen in X1 I have Fan Curve Control box I can select and link all fan curves.  Is there somewhere else to select Enable Automatic Control?
