I recently purchased the XR1 lite and have not been able to get it to work for the life of me. OBS recognizes it but after adding it as a source, all I get is a black screen with the text "No Video." I have tried multiple things to fix the issue but I'm getting close to just giving up. The closest I ever got to get the thing to work was when my computer for some reason saw the capture card as a third monitor. I duplicated my 1st monitor with the "third monitor" and managed to record some video that way, but everything was very low quality. No videos or posts online have been very much help, and I can't find a reference to the "no video" message I keep getting anywhere either. If anybody knows what else I could try to get it to function properly it would be very much appreciated.

If you haven't done so I would suggest check the videos below to make sure that you have everything configured properly.
Make sure that you have the primary monitor connected to the XR1 Lite.

I have already seen and completed the steps in either video and still, I am met with the "No Video" screen.

This is all I've managed to get after setting up the capture card multiple times. I am thinking of reinstalling OBS and seeing if I can get it to work that way. Not excited about losing all my settings/scenes though.

Have you resolved this as of yet? I'm getting the same thing where it shows No Video.

What device are you connecting to the capture card? If it's a game console, have you disabled the HDCP in the console settings or used a splitter or HDCP Stripper to strip the HDCP signal? This may be required for some consoles to output to a capture card. Please also make sure you update the card to the latest firmware at https://forums.evga.com/X...10272022-m3583554.aspx

Not sure if anything was figured out but am facing the same issue. Trying to connect it to a Gigabyte G27Q monitor via HDMI, XR1 Lite has a blue light but after plugging in both HDMI parts nothing happens. Unsure of how to move forward, tried it with another monitor and I get nothing as well, monitor doesn't receive a signal and I get no video found if i bring up the source in OBs.

What are you connecting to the capture device HDMI in? A game console or something else?

i'm also having a similar issue. It doesn't show me "no video" but instead i just have a black screen. I get AUDIO just fine when i move the controller across the menus but no video to go with it. To answer the question of what I am trying to connect with it's a Nintendo switch.

Okay I know it's been a while but I wanted to post an update. Since my last post, I have been able to get a video source onto my XR1 Lite capture card, but it is not of my main display. Actually, my PC is treating the capture card as a separate display and I'm not sure why. I tried to circumvent this by simply duplicating my main monitor onto the 3rd, (the capture card) but in the process, the video was super choppy and laggy, so that didn't work. I don't know if something is wrong with my PC, OBS, or the card but I'm kind of at my wit's end.

This has been my process if it helps:
    1. Reinstalled OBS 29.0.0
    2. I have HDMI from my main monitor into the HDMI output and the HDMI input into my graphics card. I made sure that I am using a 3.0 cable and 3.0 port.
    3. Updated the firmware and double-checked; the application says it is on the latest firmware
    4. Created a new scene in OBS with the capture card selected
    5. I now have video, but of a blank desktop. That is because both my PC and OBS is treating the card as its own display.
