I am trying to update my XR1 Lite on a USB 3.0 port running Windows 10 64bit with the blue light blinking and I receive a message; "Please run FW update tool on USB 3.0 port.". My XR1 Lite has nothing attached to it except the USB C to USB A 3.0 cable and the led is blinking blue indicating that it is connected to USB 3.0 but I am getting this error on the update firmware tool. Any suggestions?  

When I try to run the firmware update it gives an error saying "Please close your preview software, such as OBS.". I can't figure out why though. OBS is closed, I closed xbox game bar and discord. Those were the only things I could think of that it might've been detecting as preview software. So I don't know what else it could be?

i tried the update fw tool on two computer and still get the same error both have usb 3.0 ports. but still saying to make sure i am running tool on usb 3.0 i have tried usb c to usb c / usb a to usb c and no luck any suggestions?

Have you tried a powered USB hub?  It's possible that the systems aren't providing enough power to the XR1 through the ports.

Hey I am getting a "Please run FW update tool on USB 3.0 port." message whenever i try to launch the update. I have tried all the USB 3.0 ports. Any fixes? I get the I'm considering returning my order. 
 
Getting a red light on my XR1 Lite whenever i hook it up to a video source, and a "no video" message in OBS. Really frustrating.
