Previously contacted EVGA after a bios update issue and somehow got around that but since then I've been unable to access bios via the F12 key. Keyboard doesnt even seem initialized while the system is booting as its a backlit keyboard from Razer and its dark all across the board. I've found a few posts regarding this board and its two sisters, the FTW and Micro version, stating that some keyboards wont initialize until windows boots. 
This is the same keyboard I first set the system up with and was able to access bios but maybe 1.17 changed that somehow?
I've tried other keys like Delete which just results in a blank screen for some time and then eventually the screen sees no input so it shuts off. The system will just sit there for some time without activity so I hit Ctrl + Alt + Delete to force restart. 
I can boot into windows just fine and the system does run. However at this point I'm getting what appears to be 7 short beeps before the chirp but could be 8. They're very fast/short beeps and its hard to tell.
I can see that my ram is not running at the clock speed its capable of, 3600 MHz. The ram I'm now using is CMW16GX4M2D3600C18 which is on the compatible list. 
But its not clocked correctly and I need to change some settings to get maximum performance. 
What can I do to force it to go into bios?
 
 

It only started doing the beeping recently, with no change or update to bios.

Great info to note for when I get into the BIOS to set it correctly. Or at least make it properly identify via XMP. Its like its in a compatibility mode or something. 
 
I basically dont even get any activity on the monitors until windows actually starts and then bam, displays turn on and show the windows login screen. Never understood that as I use to get a splash screen and bios would show some activity....
 
Now that I'm thinking about it....I dont think I've seen anything from BIOS on screen since I installed the GTX 1070...Will it not display on that during BIOS?
 
Also as an update....EVGA responded to a service ticket that I should try SHIFT + Click Restart and then advanced options, UEFI firmware settings and that should kick me into BIOS. BUT, I got stuck at post code A6. SCSI Detect. Then it just sits there until I CTRL + ALT + DEL.
 
after telling them this didnt work, they told me to watch for post codes before A6 and that it could possibly be a bad Sata controller....which doesnt make sense as I've never had any issues from storage devices. I can sit here and move full games from hard drive to NVME with no issue and it just blazes through 50-100 gigs of data, depending on what game I move of course.

I tried all the DP and HDMI ports on the GPU and motherboard after using the Shift + Restart option in windows. Whole time the motherboard displayed A06 and the monitor's displayed nothing. One monitor is on HDMI and the other on DP. 
 
However, I dont really have anything to connect to DVI, which is apparently port 1 on my GPU. I guess I'll have to figure something out for that so that I can try that port?

Have you tried doing a min component boot?  1 memory stick, cpu/gpu, 1 SSD and only mouse/KB connected.

SO i figured I would report back that I managed to find a DVI cable and hooked it up to my 2nd monitor just to see if MB Splash screen would appear and it did. Rebooted shortly which returned me to the MB Splash Screen, which then prompted if I wanted to enter BIOS. I was able to get in and change some settings to get back to what I was running. Now everything is performing as it should be. Thanks for the info ladies and gentlemen, specfically to the one that mentioned GPU monitor port order. 
 
Personally I think its dumb that it doesnt skip the DVI with nothing plugged into it...it should go Port 0, no monitor...okay, Port 1, oh a monitor...lets display BIOS here.
